About this event
This full-day workshop explores Nature Pedagogy – the why, the theory, the benefits, and the practical approaches to outdoor learning in early childhood and OOSH settings. Educators will experience hands-on nature play activities, see real examples from services across Queensland and beyond, and gain practical strategies for embedding nature play within the fence of their own environments.
This workshop is designed for educators working with children aged 0–12 years, with all content mapped to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and My Time, Our Place (MTOP). Participants will leave with both the theoretical grounding and practical ideas needed to confidently integrate nature play and outdoor learning into their existing programs and service routines.
