Vicky O'Keefe
Vicky O’Keefe’s musical journey is one of passion, legacy, and heart. The daughter of Australian rock ’n’ roll pioneer Johnny O’Keefe, Vicky grew up inspired by icons such as Carole King, Elton John, and Bill Haley. A natural on piano, guitar, and vocals, she formed her first band, VOKROK, at seventeen, quickly earning record deals with Warner’s Publishing and RCA Records and sharing stages with Suzi Quatro, America, and Rick Nelson.
Her debut solo album Destiny showcased her unique sound and earned her a loyal following across Australia. Vicky went on to create heartfelt tributes to her late father, including a moving duet on his Gold Record hit I’m Counting on You and the touching Keep the Candle Burning, co-written with her brother. These projects led to international tours, with performances alongside legends such as Chubby Checker and The Sweet.
Vicky's songwriting continues to reflect her deep empathy and commitment to positive change, from her album 50 Diamonds to the EP UNITY, which featured Let Them Be Saved, written after the Black Summer bushfires. Today, she captivates audiences worldwide with her soulful voice and magnetic stage presence, celebrating both her father’s legacy and her own enduring artistry.
Dave Ritter Band
Dave Ritter has been a powerhouse of the Queensland music scene for more than a decade, celebrated for his explosive voice, dynamic stage presence, and ability to captivate audiences of all sizes. Growing up in Hervey Bay in the 1970s, Dave was immersed in a wide spectrum of musical influences—ranging from the hard rock sounds of Kiss, Deep Purple, and Led Zeppelin to the melodic rock of Boston, Bad Company, and Kansas. This eclectic foundation shaped a versatile performer equally at home with driving rock anthems and soaring ballads.
His debut single, a duet with Vanetta Fields on Creedence Clearwater Revival’s Have You Ever Seen the Rain, was released nationally in 1994 through Polygram, raising funds for the Farmhand Drought Appeal. In 1998, his debut album Walk on the Edge, produced by Brian Cadd, delivered standout tracks such as Gimme Gimme Good Lovin’, Whatever it Takes, and the heartfelt ballad Lost in Your Eyes, which received national airplay and a CMT music video release.
Dave has shared the stage with Australian greats including The Angels, Jon English, Swanee, and Angry Anderson, while his band has completed three successful tours of Germany. From intimate gigs to massive festivals, Dave Ritter continues to prove why he’s one of Australia’s most enduring rock talents.
